Big Boat on the Danube – A Ukulele Cruise – cancelled
Juni 27 - Juli 2
This is a fantastic ukulele cruise on the Danube, on board the four star MS Arena, which has been specially chartered for our party. It will sail between 27 June and 2 July, 2020.
As well as gliding through some of Europe’s most beautiful scenery, there will be a full programme of ukulele entertainment, including evening concerts from Dead Mans Uke, Opera-lele and The League of Ukulele Gentlemen. We’ll also have a number of inclusive workshops, from Rock & Roll to Get Orchestral, where we’ll turn our ukulele party into a an orchestra of ukes, playing different parts. There’ll also be lots of opportunities to jam and play together with our provided songbook, plus open mic shows and Lounge-a-lele, where you can be the star and sing along with the house band.
The cruise begins in the beautiful city of Budapest, and proceeds to Bratislava and then Vienna, where classical ukulele player and teacher Elisabeth Pfeiffer will board to add her talents to the party. Next, the MS Arena will arrive at the cobbled streets of the Austrian city of Melk, before we disembark in Passau, Germany. Enjoy Travel, as well as dealing with bookings, can also assist you with flights and arrangements.
