Organized by the legendary local ukulele club “The Flying Ukuleles”\, the VUN-series took off in 2014 and became an instant success\, establishing itself as a highlight of the ukulele scene in Vienna. \nAs the event grew bigger the organisation team took a break in 2019 to regroup. With fresh ideas and renewed energy the team started the preparations for VUN2020 in September\, only to be set back by the pandemic. \n2023 will be the first year that the VUN will become a two night event\, with concerts\, open mics\, strumalongs and workshops spread out across Friday and Saturday.
